I cannot carry my Print settings to stick, and the preinter will not print off the net now, does any one know where on earth I can find instructions or a manual on dash to use?
Please dont write "try the tech support for HP" I have have it up to 2 ft over my head near them.

tho you didn't furnish enough info I'm assuming you trying to set this printer up for use on a see.........
if this is the case afterwards what you'll need to do is provide the printer a static or manual ip address.
once the printer is plugged into the lattice print out a confiuration page. this will give you the impermanent IP address recieved from the DHCP server.
open your pattern browser and type the ip address as a URL. this will take you to the printer's trellis interface where you can translate the ip address from DHCP to Manual or Static. press apply to save the change and you're done.
just use your print to your local port / stand alone not as your grating printer, and reinstall your drives too as lpt 1 not as print server
