Hi. I own a Canon Pixma iP3000. Changing from portrait to landscape is comfortable. The problem is I cannot get subsidise to portrait AND, "have it stay there". Each time I return to print, it has set itself posterior to landscape & no event what I do, it just keep returning to landscape. I hold tried everything I can think of to procure it to stay on portrait, but without nouns. It should be simple. BUT. & yes I do press OK after setting the page to portrait.

It say that it fixes ""Memory Full" - When loading more than one document in the automatic document feeder (ADF) to sort copies, the all-in-one may display "Memory Full; Press Enter"
And it fixes lots of other issues with this printer.
Right click on the printer statue in the taskbar and look for purge documents
Try unplugging it for a while. That should erase any memory it have.

Suggest you try the following. Create a page of full stops, copy say 100 page. Weigh your paper in the past & after printing. Given that you know how many full stops per page, multiply by 100.
(Weight Before - Weight After)/ (No full stops per page * 100) = counterbalance of a full stop.
This will vary according to font and size of font

Short answer, until your toner go dry. but that printer has approaching an 85000 page/month duty cycle. If you want to know how many page per cartridge you will be capable of print, I do not know, but it is lots. in the thousands per tape. However, HP doesn't sell supplies for that printer, so you will entail 3rd party cartridges or a supplier that still have stock. There are probably lots out there still.

depends on the usage... if your doing images surrounded by greyscale or just paper and the amount of ink used on the page (page full of text vs partly a page)
MOST printers can output about 300-400 total page average of just certificate.
Add a few images and you cut it down to in the order of 250-350.
In most cases you should get a dutiful 2 months of daily to every other daytime usage

I just bought a toner videotape for my Samsung laser that claims to do 4500 copies (high yield), but I think you probably hold an inkjet. That depends really do you enjoy A, D, or G cartridges. (there should be a letter code at the completion of the cartridge number IE 51645A or 6578d.
51645A and 6578 D are the most adjectives so maximum yields for them are:
Black 51645A - 970 page @ 5% coverage
Color 6578D - 450 pages @ 5% coverage
These are maximum yield. Unfortunately they are calibrated at the lowest DPI (draft mode or conventional I am not to sure about the in reality settings on your printer). Printing pictures, charts, dense text or anything within high element will drastically reduce these data.
Mine lasted 3 months, (light printing, possibly 2-3 docs a day) so it will depend on usage.

If you are a heavy user who perform regular maintenance and simply uses canon original cartridges your vivacity span can be years. I am still on my original print principal on an s520 I purchased 6 years ago. I print anywhere from 40-500 pages per week.

Color cartridges have a much greater variance depending on if you're printing a vivid photograph or of late a couple of color charts in a document. Average concede should be about 200 photograph trait 8 x 11 sheets.
The biggest problem is usually not running out of ink, but letting the cartridges dry out from lack of use or the printer nozzles getting clogged near dried ink. A few pages once every few days would be considered unbelievably light use. So I'd suggest you look within the printer manual or look in the support website and find out how to clean the printer nozzles. This will do two things: hang on to the nozzles clear and force the cartridges to spit out a sufficient amount of each ink color to preserve the ink from drying out.
My home Lexmark prints about 15 - 20 page a week at best quality. I verbs the nozzles about twice a month. The cartridges closing about 2 - 3 months. Hope this give you a bit of help.

I enjoy only used my printer a handful of times within the past light of day or two and yet I preserve getting a warning that suggests i hold no ink left? I enjoy tried reinstalling the ink and shaking up the cartridge to rouse ink flow. I have just printed about 20 sheets, it cant be forsaken already can it? Starting to wish I have bought a different one if ink runs out this quickly.

There is really no way to bring up to date if it is sitting in the printer unused. If you make tracks it that way for a few months, it will seize dried out and the ink won't flow like majority. At that point, it all depends on how very well the cleaning utilities work on the printer. You might leave it for six months, run the cleaning utilities and it looks fine. Or, you might run them and your prints termination up streaky no matter how oodles cleanings you do.
I would not recommend anything beyond six months though. If you leave them within your printer for a year and never use them, they probably aren't ever going to work and your printer might permanently be clogged.

The average monitor displays imagery between 72 and 96 dpi (dots per inch) regardless of the quality of the metaphors being displayed.
Remember that as you enormity an image, the dpi condense. If you scan an image at 300 dpi, next double its' size, the resolution of the new picture would be 150dpi. That's still acceptable for desktop printing and you wouldn't make out a significant difference onscreen.
Triple the size and the resolution would be 75 dpi. Not a huge difference onscreen but printed output would be pretty blurred.
