i am wondering going on for how many color prints i can procure out of a HP 5m colour cartridge, as i am making covers for dvd and want an opinion how many they will make a contribution.

How frequent prints will a 5m ink videotape impart?
It depends on the exact cartridge number and the exact printer you are using. Assuming that you are using the HP 93 videotape, you would see about 175 page of color graphics, depending on your page yield.
Type your videotape number into hp.com and you will see a list of specifications for your tape and will find your answer there.
near is no way to answer that. every print will use a different amount of ink.
If you're using it for regular printing - ie a page of text/graphs - after approx 150ish pages realistically. If you're printing illustrious quality photos you can imagined count on about 50-60 at most. The tiny cartridges aren't expected for pictures.
