how to caputre printer port(LPT) contained by window xp when printer is connected to another computer?

After clicking ADD A PRINTER surrounded by XP -

select the second option (a gridiron printer or printe attached to another computer)

Click next

Select browse for a printer

click subsequent

It will start searching for the printer.



(Befor starting this amusement you should remember to share the printer where it is pfysicaly present)



XP will find out the shared printer.

Select it



and you will be anle to use it.
step to the dos prompt and type in

NET USE LPT2: //computername/printer christen -then press enter

the printer needs to be setup as shared.
