These articles give some basic info roughly offset printing. It seem like one personage can operate the machine and some machines can print surrounded by color (just like laser printers, the more expensive the more they'll do.) Unfortunately, I couldn't find a cost to operate estimate. I guess it will depend on monthly production, whether B&W or color, etc.

As for how much it costs to run and how tons labourers. it adjectives depends on what machinery you can invest in. There are one colour machines that you would requirement to pass a single sheet 4 times to produce a full colour picture. There are also 4 colour machines, 8 colour for Front and Back full colour surrounded by one run, 12 colour for extra pantone colours or coating.....



Basically its up to you and your needs. If you are a photographer and you are a short time ago thinking to buy one so you can print your pictures then I suggest you look for something else.

But merely to give you an example... if you are looking to buy even a used one colour apparatus you are looking around the price of 8,000 euros minimum.
