In a tri-color cartridge the cart are divided into 3 inside, so you need to drill a hole into respectively subsection and refill respectively subsection separately.
Have a look around this site,

Thats where I learn from. But, a couple of 'wrinkles' .. you will find that each cistern (there will be 3) has a breather hole for that cistern. to be sure waht colour ink to use, push a thin cocktail stick into your drilled hole, check the colour. When you step to fill, push your hypodermic deep within, twist 1/4 turn consequently allow the ink to gravity fill (I used a syringe next to no plunger for this move) Only put in ample ink to 1/2 fill, surrounded by case in attendance is ink left. The logic bringing up the rear this 'gravity fill' is that you do not want air bubbles.

Having said adjectives this, I gave up refill carts, found even cheaper picking,

Wonderful system, worth throwing your current printer in the bin, you gather so much on ink its cost effective to gain a new printer and go and get a CFS.
